Since I brought it up a few months ago, I was pleased to see that a sorta-well-respected music site is with me on the Sufjan thing: Check out Stephen Thomas Erlewine's well-considered article at www.allmusic.com.

just my humble o, but i think thom yorke's solo record reviews could use the same level of scrutiny. anyone connected to radiohead could fart into a microphone for 40 minutes and most critics would love it.
but then again it's only rock and roll but...
